Jack Russell Rescue OWII

Sadly, Jack Russell terriers are the number 5 most produced dog by puppy mills in this country. This is due to their size (small equals marketable in the pet store trade which puppy mills aim for) and their hardiness. In addition, the economy has lately forced many owners to give up their pets due to home losses and financial stress. There are also many owners who did not do their homework before acquiring a breed which requires a high level of attention and exercise.

Jack Russell Rescue OWII was inaugurated in 2006 to help these dogs. Over 400 Jacks have been placed in new lifetime homes since then.
